Unity Party Chair Bill Hammons has begun the exploratory phase of a 2028 run for the Presidency.
Alan Lee will also be seeking the Party’s 2028 Presidential nomination.
2024 Unity Party Veep nominee and Hoosier Uniter Donnie Harold Harris will separately be seeking the Vice Presidential nomination.
Damion “Darkhorse” Hays is a 2026 Candidate for Governor of California
Herb Morgan is a 2026 Candidate for State Controller of California
Jingchao Xiong is a 2026 Candidate for California’s Congressional District 11
Gus Mattammal is a 2026 Candidate for California Superintendent of Public Instruction

Note that these are not yet nominations (nominations will be decided at conventions as appropriate), and fellow Uniters are welcome to announce their own intentions to seek Unity Party nominations, including for the 2026 election.

Unity Party’s Founder Eyes A Winter Walkabout

Thursday, December 4, 2025 (Patrick Henry Village, Germany) – The Founder and Chair of the Unity Party of America takes a break from ongoing slogs with the Powers That Be (For Now) in Colorado and Germany to eye a winter escap(ad)e.

“First, I’d like to apologize to the good citizens of the State of Colorado for pulling a Roger Bannister (doing what had never been done before), and giving wrong-headed inspiration to ‘Minor Party’ amateurs who think the problem with the Unity Party label is the propensity of the man who created it for saying what’s really on his mind,” says United National Committee Chairman Bill Hammons. “If the good folks at the Secretary of State’s office won’t do what’s obviously just, I just might be reaching out to the Colorado General Assembly and ask them to do it for them. And I won’t be apologizing to the good folks in my birth city of Bad Kreuznach for giving it my all to settle on foreign soil with my dignity intact, away from the future clutches of a newly-minted authoritarian regime (see previous reference to saying what’s really on my mind); today they know what the right thing for Bad Kreuznach and Yours Truly truly is, whether they do it right or not.

“All of this just might lead up to that same Yours Truly saying sayonara for a Teutonic winter for what they call a walkabout, but of course it won’t be winter where they call it a walkabout, which will pretty much be the point. Forward UP.”
